Plant research has a lot of aspects.
Various kinds of research, including on plant phylogeny, morphology, and listings, are currently being conducted,
and one of the processes to prepare for these is to get specimens by collecting, pressing and drying the relevant plants.
However, a plant specimen eventually loses its original morphology and color through various processes, and therefore becomes indistinct after some time.
One method to record and preserve the original information is illustration.
Botanical illustration is a product of plant study that makes it possible to describe the parts or morphology of plants that cannot be captured by photos, including the minute anatomic structure of living plants. Moreover, It is a work of art that is able to show the beauty of plants by adding the artistic sense of the illustrator, as well as the exact expression of botanical aspects.
