To grow lettuce, you can either buy and sow seeds, or plant already
grown seedlings. If you choose to plant seedlings, you can buy them
from a flower shop. If you decide to plant seeds, sow them after
soaking them in tepid water and then plant the thin, weak seedlings
after they sprout.

Growing lettuce
- Prepare a pot, some fertilizer, and soil mixed with some sand.
- Put a two- or three-layer folded cloth sack or mosquito net on the bottom of the pot.
- Put some coarse soil, such as sand, in the bottom of the pot.
- Fill the pot halfway with soil and plant a seedling with soil attached.
- Add more soil and compress it around the seedling.
- Plant ones next to it while leaving sufficient space.
- Immediate exposure to sunlight may make them wither, so provide them with plenty of water and then expose them to sunlight after one or two days.
